The Security Checker is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the premises by preventing theft, minimizing shrinkage, and ensuring vehicles are correctly loaded. The role also involves checking all goods leaving the store, verifying sales and returns, managing boom gates, and upholding professional standards of conduct.

Responsibilities

• Check goods leaving the shop/yard
• Verify all sales and returns transactions
• Obtain signatures from credit customers
• Manage payments from cash customers
• Conduct vehicle checks and monitor boom movement
• Report suspicious behaviour promptly

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Minimum 1 year’s relevant experience in hardware environment
