Description

To provide first point of contact for IT services and assist clients with hardware and software related technical issues and to provide on-site or remote IT technical assistance including troubleshooting of IT issues. The person appointed to this position will report to the Infrastructure Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the ICT service desk function as the first point of contact for business users
  • Answer and log calls via the ICT Call Centre telephone system
  • Categorise, prioritise, and route service tickets on the incident management platform
  • Respond to incidents and service requests, ensuring successful resolution and updates to stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues affecting business operations

Qualifications

  • National Diploma in IT or Computer Systems (or equivalent)
  • Certifications: A+ or N+ and ITIL Foundation (required)
  • Minimum 1–2 years’ Desktop Support experience
