Sybrin is offering a 12-month developer internship based in Johannesburg, designed to provide aspiring software developers with hands-on experience in building and maintaining real-world applications. As part of the Technology division, interns will collaborate with experienced professionals on impactful projects that deliver value to clients across Africa and beyond. This office-based role includes a 3-month probation period and emphasizes mentorship, agile development practices, and continuous learning. Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of software applications
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior developers
• Participate in team discussions, sprint planning, and code reviews
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues
• Contribute to the documentation and testing of applications
• Learn and apply development best practices and standards

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a qualification in IT, Computer Science, or Software Development
• Basic programming knowledge in one or more languages (C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript)
• Familiarity with development frameworks such as NET, React, or Angular (preferred but not required)
• Understanding of database concepts and SQL
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
