Deel is seeking a Front-End Engineer with deep React.js expertise to help build sleek, scalable, and user-friendly web applications for its global HR and payroll platform. As part of a remote-first engineering team spanning EMEA, South Asia, and Africa, you'll collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to shape product direction, develop reusable components, and optimize performance using advanced techniques like memoization and lazy loading. You’ll write well-tested, secure, and accessible code using TypeScript and modern JavaScript, while contributing to a culture of autonomy, innovation, and customer-centric development. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to develop and enhance features
• Contribute to product planning with technical insights from early stages
• Build scalable and reusable front-end components using Reactjs and TypeScript
• Optimize performance using memoization, lazy loading, code splitting, and modern build tools
• Write tests using Jest and react-testing-library and debug with React DevTools

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Reactjs including hooks, state management, JSX, and component lifecycle
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript with advanced types, interfaces, and generics
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) including closures, async/await, DOM API, and reactive patterns
• Proven experience optimizing apps for speed and responsiveness
• Strong eye for UI/UX design and user experience best practices
• Expertise in integrating APIs and managing asynchronous operations
• Knowledge of web security practices and accessibility standards
• Experience with testing libraries and component documentation tools like Storybook
• Familiarity with SaaS product development and cloud environments is a plus
• Basic understanding of backend technologies such as Nodejs
• Experience in FinTech is advantageous
