The Junior .NET Developer will support the development and maintenance of software applications using the .NET framework. This entry-level role involves assisting in the design, coding, testing, and deployment of web-based and database-driven solutions. The incumbent will work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, contribute to agile development practices, and gain hands-on experience in a professional software development environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of Dot-NET applications
• Support web-based solutions using modern front-end technologies
• Participate in database design and development using SQL
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and agile development practices

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• At least 1 year of practical experience (including internship, project work, or an entry-level role) in a software development environment
• Technical Proficiency Required:
• Dot-NET Framework / Dot-NET Core
• Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP-dot-NET)
• Database development and SQL
• Familiarity with version control systems (eg, Git) is advantageous
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
