A permanent role for a Junior Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join an innovative engineering team. The position offers hands-on experience in the design, development, and commissioning of control systems for commercial and industrial PV, Battery Energy Storage (BESS), and micro-grid projects, working alongside experienced engineers in the renewable energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and commissioning control and monitoring systems for renewable energy projects
• Support the integration and testing of PLC-based control systems
• Conduct technical research and assist in software development for R&D projects

Qualifications

• BEng Electrical and Electronic, or
• BEng Electronic, or
• BSc Engineering (in a relevant discipline)
• 0–1 year of experience (some experience in control or automation fields will be advantageous; related fields will also be considered)
• Experience (professional or extracurricular) in designing and implementing P and PI controllers
• Strong proficiency in C / C++ / C# programming languages
• Foundational knowledge of PLCs and PLC programming
• Understanding of three-phase power systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow within a team environment
