Description

The Site Engineer (Civils) will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating civil construction activities on-site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with design specifications and relevant legislation. The incumbent will also drive operational efficiency, uphold high SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) standards, and support the delivery of key performance and financial targets

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily civil engineering and construction operations on-site
• Achieve or exceed production and financial performance targets
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and statutory requirements
• Implement and maintain a high SHEQ standard to ensure client satisfaction and compliance with safety laws
• Assist with project planning, programming, and scheduling to enhance operational efficiency
• Evaluate performance metrics and recommend process improvements
• Support problem-solving and decision-making to resolve on-site challenges
• Manage labour, materials, plant, and subcontractors effectively

Qualifications

• BSc, BEng, or BTech in Civil Engineering
