Description

The Graduate in Training position at Eskom Distribution is an internship opportunity within the Information Management Department of the LimLanga Cluster, based in Polokwane. The role is designed for a recent graduate to undergo a structured training programme across various Information Management sections. The successful candidate will be exposed to business analysis, IT/IS solution development, and project management aligned with Eskom’s Project Lifecycle Management (PLCM) standards. This position offers a hands-on learning experience in a dynamic environment, supporting Eskom’s strategic IT initiatives while fostering professional growth in the electricity, energy, and water supply industry.

Responsibilities

• Gather and interpret business requirements through workshops, forums and other engagements
• Document the requirements for the development, delivery and support of quality IT/IS solutions which reflect a view into the Group IT strategy for the relevant business area or customer
• Provide business advisory in particular business disciplines and operations
• Participate in project development and management in line with established Eskom PLCM

Qualifications

• BSc Business Systems at NQF7 with 360 credits
• BCom at NQF7 with 360 credits
• B Degree Information Technology at NQF7 with 360 credits
• No work experience required
