Description

To provide operational support to the Quality Control unit in monitoring and reporting on the performance of the Rea Vaya BRT system. The intern will play a crucial role in data collection and analysis to ensure service delivery standards are met and to support future planning

Responsibilities

• Manual Data Recording: Accurately record and track daily bus kilometres operated by Rea Vaya Phase 1A, 1B, and 1C services
• System Monitoring: Monitor daily bus operations to capture real-time performance data
• Exception Reporting: Identify, document, and capture instances of missed trips or service interruptions
• Data Management: Maintain meticulous records of operational statistics in the absence of a fully implemented Bus Management and Control Module (BMCM)
• Reporting: Assist in the compilation of daily and weekly operations reports for management review
• Performance Analysis: Support the team in analysing data to project future operational needs and inform planning decisions

Qualifications

• A Diploma or Degree in Transportation Management, or Logistics Management, or Or any other related Quality Compliance qualification
