Responsibilities

• Transform complex business and technical requirements into comprehensive, actionable test plans and clear acceptance criteria
• This includes understanding and challenging the requirements to ensure clarity and accuracy
• Develop and maintain high-quality manual test cases and detailed execution plans
• Execute rigorous tests, precisely document results, and meticulously raise defects
• Collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts (BAs), and report builders to refine solutions, ensuring continuous alignment between the intended outcome and the final implementation
• Drive QA feedback loops throughout the development lifecycle, with a strong focus on early defect detection and efficient resolution
• Take ownership of regression testing cycles, provide support for release planning, and consistently ensure high quality across all system updates
• Champion a robust culture of quality, data precision, and test accountability within the team

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience working with data, with a strong emphasis on testing and documentation
• Possess a deep understanding of the test lifecycle, defect management, and requirement traceability
• Able to break down complex workflows into clear, step-by-step test plans and effectively identify edge cases
• Collaborative working style, with experience engaging cross-functional teams
• Advanced skills in Excel and documentation platforms (e

• Experience or formal training in software QA
• Exposure to financial services, investment operations, or reporting/data-driven environments
• Familiarity with SQL for data validation and ad hoc querying, and an understanding of Agile delivery practices and test coverage metrics
• Knowledge of BI tools like Power BI and experience with testing and reporting within those contexts
