Description

To perform a threefold chain of work (Investigation, Analysis, and Description) for internal customers at operational, tactical, and strategic levels. The role involves investigating business ideas, needs, and problems, and developing models, processes, documents, and reports to ensure efficiencies and support business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and manage stakeholders up to management level, develop engagement plans, and maintain relationships between business and fulfilment areas
• Business Requirements Identification: Elicit complex business requirements using interviews, workshops, and workflow analysis, and document them in an agreed format
• Needs Assessment: Uncover emerging issues or needs, identifying potential causes and key stakeholders
• Process Analysis: Document complex "as is" and "to be" processes and describe the changes required for migration
• Continuous Improvement: Review existing operations, implement innovation processes, and develop solutions for identified shortcomings
• Business Case: Manage feasibility and assessment work for projects and influence discussions about solutions based on business domain analysis
• Personal Capability Building: Participate in training and development, maintain understanding of relevant technology and industry best practices

Qualifications

• Education:
• Grade 12 / SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential)
• Qualification in Business Analysis (Essential)
• Experience:
• 3 years of experience in a business analyst or data analyst role (Essential)
• 3 years of financial services experience with exposure to complex systems and procedures (Essential)
