Description

The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality websites and landing pages for BruntWork clients. The role focuses heavily on custom WordPress development, including theme customization, plugin development, and third-party API integration. The developer will work remotely and collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and according to best practices.

Responsibilities

• Build custom WordPress landing pages and full websites
• Develop, customize, and integrate WordPress themes, plugins, and APIs
• Handle front-end and back-end integration for web applications
• Design web pages, graphics, and multimedia; deploy code to production environments
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet scope requirements and deliver on time

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in web design/development with strong skills in WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, and Wix
• Solid knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, UI principles, and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience developing/customizing WordPress themes, plugins, and integrating third-party APIs
• Understanding of web hosting, domain setup, production deployment, and general web standards
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, with a portfolio showcasing previous projects (required)
