The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and interpreting data from multiple sources, identifying trends, and presenting accurate and meaningful information to stakeholders. This role plays a critical part in driving business improvement across Pepkor’s retail operations, ensuring data-driven decisions that enhance performance and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute the organisation’s data visualisation, reporting strategy, policies, and processes
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports that meet stakeholder requirements
• Analyse, model, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Provide insights and recommendations that support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Educate and guide business users on how to interpret and utilise developed reports
• Engage with internal customers in a professional and customer-centric manner
• Work within a complex IT environment, ensuring compliance with data, security, and operational standards
• Apply strong investigation skills to resolve data issues and improve data quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or related)
