Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage and source empowerment programmes that will enable the work and programmes in the directorate based on the implementation of substantive research findings, policy and recommendations
• Create internal and external stakeholder relations within the different
• Municipal Departments as well as different sectors and to determine baseline including gaps and challenges existing to ensure good governance and clean administration demonstrated by receiving and sustaining an unqualified audit opinion
• Ensure that completed work adhere to governance and legislative requirements by preparing and delivering reports as per developed set standards and requirements, legislation and regulations such that integrity, effective administration, collection and documentation of projects information takes into account project risk management processes
• Adhere to specified standards, policies and regulations to prevent unnecessary expenditure on financial resources and escalate associated risk to the relevant directorate for intervention in order to provide effective financial and supply chain management support to ensure effective delivery on the institutional mandate
• Provide authoritative, special expertise and advice to interdepartmental and external stakeholders in order to manage information and knowledge on youth socio-economic empowerment and rights thus improving and maintaining a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers and to maintain healthy and professional relationships within the organisation

Qualifications

• Relevant Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
• 4 years Youth Development experience
