Responsibilities

• Mainstream overall Youth Development across departments of the City of Ekurhuleni, ensuring continues development and implementation of youth development programmes and implementation of the youth policy
• Develop annual operating plan and secure resources necessary to achieve identified objectives consistent with medium term requirements
• Direct, control and optimise resources to meet established objectives, monitor results against business plans, and make adjustments where necessary
• Facilitate and monitor departmental programmes and projects in line with Ekurhuleni youth policy and integrated youth development plan to ensure compliance by departmental heads
• Review, redesign and ensure implementation of Ekurhuleni youth policy in line with the national youth policy

Qualifications

• Degree in Public Administration or relevant NQF 7 academic qualification
• 3 - 5 year’s experience in a similar environment
