MANCOSA is seeking an Academic Programme Leader for its Advanced Diploma in Business Analysis. This role involves providing strategic leadership to ensure the programme's excellence, industry relevance, and academic rigor. Responsibilities include overseeing the programme's lifecycle, enhancing student success, driving curriculum innovation, managing academic quality and compliance, and collaborating with stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in a relevant field and experience in higher education teaching or academic management. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, be digitally literate, and facilitate community and research engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership aligned to the institution's mission and academic strategy
• Define and maintain a strong programme identity, philosophy, and market positioning
• Lead the rollout, implementation, and growth of new and existing programmes
• Ensure academic quality, compliance, and governance across all programme activities
• Perform programme lifecycle management informed by data, benchmarking, industry needs and student outcomes

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Information Technology / Business Analysis / Information Systems or related field (NQF Level 9 preferred)
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Higher Education teaching and/or academic management
• Experience in programme leadership and academic quality management
• Minimum 2 years' experience with Learning Management System (LMS) administration/coordination
