Description

FNB is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data sourcing processes and data warehouse solutions. The role includes building multi-dimensional insight tools such as Power BI dashboards and analytic cubes to support self-service reporting. The developer will support business strategy, deliver data-driven insights, improve reporting efficiencies, and ensure compliance with governance and quality standards. The position involves continuous improvement, stakeholder engagement, process optimisation, risk awareness, and contributing to business intelligence initiatives that drive organisational performance.

Responsibilities

• Creates solutions to meet customer demands
• Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
• Ensure full understanding of customer needs to deliver a quality service
• Propose ideas to improve customer service
• Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development
• Provide support and input into tactical business strategies and execute on relevant business intelligence (BI) projects / BI initiatives aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures and control systems to track progress

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in Business Intelligence development
• Ability to design and develop BI solutions
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts
• Ability to interpret source-to-target mapping
• Knowledge of compliance, governance, and risk processes
