Positioned at RCL Foods in Krugersdorp, South Africa, the Technical Assistant role is focused on the maintenance and servicing of manufacturing equipment in accordance with engineering standards. The preferred candidate should have a Matric/Grade 12 and an N3 or NCV technical qualification, along with 2-5 years of experience on production line machines. Responsibilities include repairing equipment failures, conducting preventative maintenance, performing root cause analyses, completing job cards, inspecting machines, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The role also involves supporting production line start-ups and maintaining the Quality and Food Safety system. Applications are open until December 12, 2025.

Responsibilities

• Repair failures on equipment’s to restore functionality of the equipment
• Carry out preventative maintenance work to ensure that equipment’s performs are at ultimate output
• Carry out root cause analysis to prevent re-occurrence of failures
• Ensure job cards are completed timeously and all relevant information is Captured
• Carry out daily inspections on the machines and report any defects that may have noticed

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• N3 Qualification or NCV Technical qualifications
• 2 - 5 years’ experience on production line machines as an operator
