Description

This role involves working with a leading South African software development company that builds and supports Student Information Systems (SIS) for the academic sector. You will analyse business requirements, document specifications, support implementation projects, conduct testing, and engage directly with clients. The role requires strong business analysis skills, excellent communication, and the ability to understand higher education administration processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep knowledge of the Student Information System (SIS) and client business processes
• Translate business and product requirements into clear specifications and features
• Prepare backlog specifications, write test cases, and support developers with requirement clarity
• Perform functional, regression, and use-case testing for new features, upgrades, and migrations
• Participate in project lifecycle tasks, including scoping, documentation, and Jira tracking

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
• Formal training in requirements analysis
• Minimum 2+ years Business Analysis experience
• Experience with Agile / SCRUM methodology
• Strong understanding of the software implementation lifecycle
