The Compensation Fund in Pretoria is seeking a three-year qualification in Accounting or Financial Management, with 2 years of functional experience in Bank Reconciliation environment and 2 years of supervisory experience. The position requires knowledge of financial management, Generally Recognized Accounting Principles (GRAP), Labour Relations Act 9LRA, Basic Condition of Employment Act (BCEA), COIDA Act, Public Service Act, PFMA and National Treasury Regulations, Constitution Act 108 of 1996 (amended), and Public Service Regulations.
Skills required include business writing, decision making, IT skills, budgeting and financial management, diversity management, conflict management, planning and organizing, problem solving, project or programme management, team leadership, and risk management. The duties include coordinating the overall maintenance of bank accounts, manual and electronic reconciliation processes, allocation of unknown receipts, monthly reconciliation of supplier balances to supplier statement, and supervision of staff.
