Description

The University of Westminster is offering Sanctuary Scholarships to students who meet the eligibility criteria. These scholarships are for students with specific UK immigration statuses who have an offer for a full-time master’s course starting in September 2024 or January 2025. The aim is to support students from refugee and asylum-seeking backgrounds to further their education.

Responsibilities

• Maintain satisfactory academic progress during the course of their studies

Qualifications

• Be a resident of the UK
• Hold one of the following immigration statuses:
• UK asylum seeker
• UK discretionary leave to remain (as a result of an asylum application)
• UK limited leave to remain (as a result of an asylum application)
• UK refugee status obtained
• Not already hold a master’s degree
• Be ineligible for taught postgraduate student loans from Student Finance
