Description

The DSV Empowerment Trust is offering bursaries for the 2025 academic year. Bursaries are available for employees of DSV Empowerment Trust and their dependents, covering studies in any accredited field (course, diploma, or degree). This program supports students aiming to pursue a minimum study period of three years at a recognized and accredited public tertiary institution in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Ensure satisfactory academic performance and meet all the requirements of your chosen course, diploma, or degree throughout the bursary period
• Provide progress reports or academic transcripts as requested by the DSV Empowerment Trust to verify ongoing eligibility
• Engage in any bursary-related activities, such as mentorship sessions, progress meetings, or evaluations, as organized by DSV Empowerment Trust
• Adhere to all terms and conditions set out by the bursary program, including ethical conduct, maintaining a positive academic record, and fulfilling all required documentation and submissions

Qualifications

• Must be a South African citizen
• Must be Black (African, Chinese, Coloured, or Indian)
• Must be a current permanent DSV employee or a dependent of one
• Must be studying or planning to study a tertiary qualification in any field
• Must be enrolled or provisionally accepted at an accredited South African university or college
• Studies must be for a minimum of three years (excluding post-graduate courses)
