Description

The Limpopo Department of Public Works, Roads, and Infrastructure offers bursaries for the 2025 academic year to students residing in Limpopo. Bursaries will support studies in various Built Environment fields, with a focus on fostering skills and building a talent pool for the construction industry in Limpopo. This bursary covers registration fees, tuition, prescribed textbooks, accommodation, and meals. Recipients are required to work back the bursary period upon completing their studies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain academic progress and provide regular academic transcripts
• Sign a bursary agreement prior to receiving funding
• Complete a mandatory work-back period within the Limpopo public sector, equal to the duration of bursary funding received

Qualifications

• South African citizen residing in Limpopo province
• Completed Matric or currently in Matric
• Enrolled or accepted at an accredited South African tertiary institution
• Preference for applicants from previously disadvantaged backgrounds and those with disabilities
• Studying or intending to study within the following fields in 2025 Architectural Science, Building Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, GIS, Land Surveying, Landscaping/Horticulture, Mechanical Engineering, Property Science/Real Estate, Quantity Surveying, Town and Regional Planning
