Description

Siza Water is inviting students to apply for their 2025 bursary programme, which supports students in specific fields of study related to water and engineering disciplines. This bursary is available to students residing in Siza Water's concession area. Fields of Study: The bursary is open to students pursuing studies in the following fields: Engineering (Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical), Environmental Management, Financial Management, Town and Regional Planning, Trades (Electrician, Fitters, Millwright, Plumbing), Water & Sewer Treatment Process Controller.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a minimum academic average as required by the programme
• Submitting academic results annually to renew funding
• Representing Siza Water positively and upholding the values of the company
• Actively engaging in their studies and aiming for successful completion of their qualifications
• Participating in any mentorship or training programmes organized by Siza Water

Qualifications

• Be a South African citizen residing in the Siza Water concession area, KwaZulu-Natal
• Be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
• Be studying or intending to study full-time in one of the listed fields
• Be registered or accepted at a recognised and accredited institution in South Africa
• Have a minimum overall average of 65% for 2024 and at least 65% in the relevant subject
• Meet the minimum study requirements set by the institution
• Be in financial need with a household income of no more than R15,000 per month
