The Railway Safety Regulator (RSR) Bursary is aimed at supporting students pursuing qualifications in fields related to railway safety and engineering. The bursary is part of the organization's mandate to enhance the safety and efficiency of railway operations in South Africa. Fields covered include Civil, Electrical, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering. The program seeks to promote academic excellence and prioritize youth, females, individuals with disabilities, and previously disadvantaged communities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain satisfactory academic performance
• Submit academic reports as required
• Uphold the values and objectives of the RSR
• Possibly participate in RSR's developmental or internship programs after completion of studies

Qualifications

• South African citizenship
• Matric certificate
• Full-time study in one of the specified engineering fields
• Must be in the third year of study at an accredited South African institution
• Not receiving financial support from any other source
