Nedbank is offering financial assistance to deserving South African students pursuing undergraduate or Honours qualifications at public higher education institutions. The Nedbank Bursary 2026 is intended to support students with financial need and strong academic records. It aims to address South Africa’s critical skills shortage, with a specific focus on green economy skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining good academic performance throughout the study period
• Representing Nedbank positively as a bursary recipient
• Fulfilling all bursary-related obligations outlined in the agreement

Qualifications

• Be a South African citizen
• Demonstrate proven financial need (household income assessed)
• Achieve a minimum average of 65% for the academic year applying for the bursary
• Achieve at least 65% in subjects relevant to your intended university degree
• Must NOT have completed Grade 12 or Senior Certificate with Mathematics Literacy
• Must secure admission to a public South African university or university of technology for an Undergraduate or Honours qualification
