The Volkswagen Group Africa (VWGA) Bursary Programme 2026 is a comprehensive financial aid initiative aimed at supporting talented South African students who are committed to full-time undergraduate studies at accredited tertiary institutions.

Responsibilities

• Work-back obligation: For every year of funding received, students must work back at VWGA after graduation
• If not fulfilled, the bursary recipient may need to repay the full value of benefits received
• Maintain full-time study status – if found employed or not studying, bursary will be cancelled and repayments enforced

Qualifications

• Registered / Registering as a full-time undergraduate student in 2026 at a DHET/CHE-accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
• Grade 12: Minimum 70% average (Bachelor’s pass)
• Tertiary level: Minimum 65% average
