Description

The Rustenburg Municipality invites students to apply for the Mayoral Bursary Programme for the 2026 academic year. Bursaries will be awarded for all fields of study to previously disadvantaged youth residing within the Rustenburg Local Municipal area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good academic performance throughout studies
• Participate in development and mentorship programmes provided by the municipality
• Apply knowledge gained during studies to professional development opportunities

Qualifications

• South African citizen
• Resident within the Rustenburg Local Municipal area (any of the 45 wards)
• Currently in Matric or have completed Matric
• Studying or intending to study full-time in 2026
• Accepted or provisionally accepted to study at a recognised tertiary institution in South Africa
