Risingsun Softsol is seeking an experienced Oracle Functional Specialist to provide support and maintenance for the Financial Systems Division (FSD) in support of the South African Reserve Bank (SARB). This role includes managing Oracle Financial Suite modules, facilitating enhancements, and ensuring accuracy and optimization of financial processes and data.

Responsibilities

• Provide Oracle support and maintenance for projects, programmes, new demands, and ongoing operations
• Support the unit in fulfilling its mandate for the Oracle Financial Suite across SARB
• Ensure accuracy in the asset life cycle value chain and underlying financial data
• Facilitate new enhancements and demands from business units, ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose and optimal
• Act as a trusted advisor, overseeing end-to-end delivery of solutions, including training and ensuring innovative implementation

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in application analysis, architecture, or solution design within Oracle environments
• Strong expertise in the Oracle Financial Suite (on-premises and cloud); Oracle certification is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree (NQF7) or diploma (NQF6) in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; postgraduate qualification is a plus
• Demonstrated thought leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and facilitation skills
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to deliver innovative, business-aligned solutions
