Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited is offering bursaries to high-achieving students who are currently in their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study. These bursaries are available in several fields, providing financial support to students pursuing qualifications in critical areas that contribute to the mining industry.

Responsibilities

• As this is a bursary, applicants are expected to maintain good academic standing and provide their current year results as part of their application
• They are also expected to pursue full-time studies in their chosen field

Qualifications

• Applicants must be South African citizens between 18 and 35 years old
• A valid South African ID is required
• National Senior Certificate with a pass of 60% and above in all subjects
• Engineering applicants must have a minimum of 70% in Mathematics and Physical Science
• Tertiary students must have achieved an average of 60% and above in all major subjects
• Must be studying or planning to study full-time
• Fields of Study: Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Social Sciences,Health Sciences, Information Technology, Mining Engineering, Extractive Metallurgy, Geology, Survey, Rock Engineering, Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current ONLY), Mechanical Engineering

Prepare the following certified documents: A certified copy of your South African Identity Document. Certified proof of your academic results (Grade 11 December results and Grade 12 Mid-Term or Preliminary results if in Grade 12). Full academic transcript if you are already studying at an accredited Institution of Higher Learning. A curriculum vitae/resume (maximum 3 pages). Proof of residential address.
