Description

The Gauteng Department of Social Development is offering bursary funding to motivated and deserving students who reside in Gauteng. This program provides financial support to students in social services-related fields, with the aim of fostering skills development and promoting access to quality education. The bursary covers essential academic costs, including registration fees, tuition fees, prescribed textbooks, and study materials. Fields of Study Eligible for Bursaries: Community Development, Financial Management, Demography and Population Studies, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full-time enrollment in one of the specified fields of study
• Use funding for educational purposes as outlined in the bursary agreement

Qualifications

• Permanent resident of Gauteng Province for at least one year prior to applying
• South African citizen
• Full-time enrollment or planned enrollment in a specified field of study
• Acceptance into a recognized tertiary institution
• Applicants can be youth of any race or gender, youth exiting child and youth care facilities, or youth with disabilities who meet the entry requirements
